The 2025 Great Lakes GeoSymposium
The Ohio Valley Chapter of GPN (formerly URISA) and Northeast Ohio Geospatial Education and Outreach (NEOGEO) are teaming up with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, OGRIP, and GUONO to bring you the 2025 Great Lakes GeoSymposium.
Welcome to the Northeast Ohio Geospatial Education and Outreach (NEOGEO) 2025 Great Lakes GeoSymposium! Formerly known as the Northeast Ohio GIS Symposium for the past thirteen years, this event has been a hub for GIS practitioners, vendors, and geospatial communities to collaborate, share innovative ideas, explore best practices, and embrace cutting-edge technologies in the world of GIS.
This year, we’re proud to present the theme: Expanding Horizons with Geospatial AI, spotlighting the transformative role of artificial intelligence in geospatial technologies. The conference will unite the Northeast Ohio GIS community with professionals from around the country, providing an invaluable platform to exchange ideas, refine skills, and discover new ways GIS can enhance our work and world.
This is a unique event created by GIS professionals for GIS professionals. It’s a space where you’ll uncover tools and techniques to simplify your work, unlock creative solutions, and make a meaningful impact. Yes, it’s GIS—and yes, it’s pretty spatial!
This Symposium is brought to you by geospatial professionals, for geospatial professionals, and our extended community of GIS enthusiasts. Let’s embrace the future of GIS together!
The 2025 Great Lakes GeoSymposium will be held on May 6th and 7th, 2025. Day One will be at Cuyahoga County’s Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, and Day Two will be held at The Cleveland Public Library Louis Stokes Wing. They are only a couple of blocks apart!
